Writers keep their original work
Fan participation should not require a writer to surrender ownership of their original expression.
Ownership and permission
Writers retain ownership of their original writing. Submission will grant the site only the limited permission needed to review, format, display, promote, and remove an accepted work.
Canon and commercial use
Fan works remain unofficial and non-canon. The official characters, setting, and canon remain part of the original project. Commercial use requires separate written permission.
Removal and labels
Writers will be able to request removal. Ratings and warnings are required, and AI-generated or AI-assisted work must be labelled if it is allowed.
