The Wizard
The Wizard is a healer, protector and dangerous wielder of magic whose past has been partly hidden from him. He spares the warrior sent to kill him and accepts responsibility for helping Eldran escape the Black Circle's control. At Oakhaven, his attempt to shield Eldran's brand awakens an older connection between them and forces him to confront how power should be used when another person's trust is placed in his hands.
