Eldran

Eldran is a towering warrior shaped from childhood into a weapon by the Black Circle. When they send him to kill a young wizard, the last part of himself that still knows right from wrong refuses the command. Eighteen months later, he travels at the Wizard's side, learning that obedience can be chosen, protection can run both ways and a life is not made worthless by what others forced it to become.
